My PC “TQM”

This is my personal machine, it is overkill like I do everything, but I use it.

Intel Q6600 quad processor chip with factory cooling

Asus P5BH Deluxe motherboard

CORSAIR XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 4GB(1GBx4) DDR2 PC-6400

Seagate 7200.9 500gig SATA2 hard drives in raid0

XFX 8800GTX Nvidia PCI-E card, 768 megs/ram

Lian Li Black Aluminum Server Case, Model “PC-73SLB” (Huge case but I love it)

PC Power and Cooling 750 watt PS

Floppy/card reader device

Plextor CD reader/writer

LiteOn DVD reader/writer

Altec Lansing ATP3 3 piece speakers (front)

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 Optical USB wireless

Microsoft keyboard (i like the feel of these)

NEC Multisync LCD2470WNX 24″ widescreen LCD display (1920×1200)

Samsung 17″ flat panel display

ATI HDTV Wonder for ATSC OTA reception

gigE connected

This machine runs Windows Vista 64 Ultimate

All of this is hooked to an old Compaq 1400kva UPS with new batteries

Old Pics of “BadMFer”

I removed the Adaptec SCSI card and drives, it was just too much of a pain to keep up with. No matter what I did, there were issues with the drives not connecting at 160mbit some of the time, it was still fast, but it drove me nuts. Besides, the drives work great in my server. :)

I also removed the Soundblaster X-FI Fatality sound card… The drivers for it just plain suck, bad, real bad, so I am just using the on-board sound and I am very happy with it, because it just plain works, no BS.
